For Al000 users LOAD kikstart 1.2/1.3 as normal then insert disk on workbench prompt, LOADING on ATARI ST ------------------- Switch on machine and insert disc immediately. (The game will load automatically) IMPORTANT - Look after your disc carefully. KEEP it in your original box and in a cool dry place (not in direct sunlight or rain). NEVER switch the computer ON or OFF with the disc in the drive. KEEP your disc write-protected and SWITCH OFF your computer for 30 seconds before loading a new game. (To avoid a Virus from other discs) DON'T put the disc near any magnetic field (eg. on top of TV, near Stereo speakers.) Hoversprint =========== Race at Incredible speeds on over twenty tracks on nine different planets around the universe. Complete in a league that contains the best hovercar racing championship. Choose from a selection of four brutal muscle cars WOLVERINE, STREAKER 2, BLUE FLAME AND PULSAR. Each has its own performance characteristics, so they are individually suited to particular tracks. Use realistic pit stops to refuel and repair damage. Blast successfully through eight tracks and you make your way through the league. But you have to be good you are racing against four other drivers per track. Beat them and you can challenge your friends using the remote system link. Using a standard midi cable (ST only) or Null Modem cable (ST or Amiga), that are available at most good computer stores, You can hook up with your mates system. Simply plug the cable Into the RS232 port or midi port and race head to head on the same track! Due to the way this game has been programmed, you can customise it slightly for better playability. THE CODEMASTERS REMOTE LINK SYSTEM To set up this link, you must first have a Null Modem cable or Midi cable. Amiga owners will only be able to use the Null Modem cable. These leads can easily be acquired from your local computer specialist. Insert the cable into the correct port on your computer. You may need to refer to your computer's manual for this. Now take the other end of the lead and connect to the other computer. Now load the game as normal and select the option for two player mode, requesting RS232 for the modem lead, or Midi depending upon the lead you are using. The game will operate as usual except you will now be racing head-to head against the player on the other computer. The game will link an Amiga to ST but you will require a Null Modem cable to do this as well as an Amiga and ST copy of the game.
